Tiger moth earrings

These earrings feature forest-dwelling, night-flying tiger moths with folded wings. Tiger moths are brightly colored, with bold markings in geometric shapes. They tend to be small to medium in size and bear filiform antennae. The adults are mostly nocturnal, and hold their wings flat, like a roof over their bodies, when at rest. These earrings are designed using digital processes and handmade techniques. The jewelry piece is designed by me entirely from hand drawings, and is 3D printed in high quality sterling silver using the lost wax casting technique. The earrings are then carefully cleaned and hand polished to achieve a smooth and shiny finish.
